Silas, Maclayne, Copeland, Trenton, & Teague |
I know that everyone has been dying for an update on the children since we've been home. I apologize that it has taken this long. My only excuse is that I am now a mother of FIVE children, with four of them being both special needs and age four or under.

Since we've been home, we have been in a never-ending marathon of doctor visits. We've taken the children to a slew of pediatric specialty doctors to make sure everything is or will be okay. The majority of these specialists have required more than one visit. (As time will allow, I'll write a medical update for each child with specifics. The most notable is that Maclayne will be having her sleep study on 3/8 and her open heart surgery will follow 7-10 days after...sorry to end this one on a cliffhanger.....)

For the most part, the children have adapted very well to their new life and, most importantly, to actually having a forever family. There have been some bumps in the road, but for the most part, I cannot complain. God has been with us each step of the way and He continues to have His hand upon our precious family. As I've said many times, there would be and is NO WAY to make it without His help!
Here are a few pictures showing our beautiful children at home, where they belong. I am so blessed to see such HAPPY faces each and every single day!
